Advocacy & Data Team

Moreton Bay Koala Rescue also has an Advocacy and Data Team. 

We work closely with Council, State and Federal levels of government to try to achieve good outcomes for our local koalas. We will also work with developers to enhance the environmental balance of developments to retain and even enhance koala habitat. 

All of our sightings are registered in our koala app, which is then shared with the 3 levels of government. This also can help to assist with changes in state mapping etc.
